About Rene Kingsley's Family
Please sign in to see more. Welcome to my website! I am researching the Kingsley family and the Kinkel family, dating back to late 1700's, stemming from England, Germany, Netherlands and other places. Hope you enjoy. Finding our family roots gives us a greater appreciation of our heritage and the sacrifices they made for us. We gain strength from learning about how our ancestors met life's troubling challenges. Many of our ancestors lived a life of hardship and deprivation, so that their descendants would have a better life.
The Kinkels, from where I am standing, started in Falkenberg Germany and immigrated to the Americas in 1852..I am still researching passenger lists to find out exactly when they immigrated, I think I am close, will update as soon as I find out.
The Kingsleys in turn, were originally from Witchampton,Dorset England as far as I can surmise, migrating first to Canada, New York, Wis, and so forth until they hit Arizona. Also, I am researchng passenger lists for Kingsley, Loitz, Mollers, etc.
SOURCES; MANY, MANY THANKS TO MY UNCLE WILLIAM EUGENE KINKEL AND UNCLE GARY KINKEL FOR THEIR CONTRIBUTION, WITHOUT THEIR IMPUT, ALOT OF THIS COULD NOT HAVE BEEN DONE. THEY HAVE WORKED LONG AND HARD AND EVEN TAKEN TRIPS TO GERMANY TO FIND INFORMATION ON OUR ANCESTRY.
I have also used the International Genealogical Index: familysearch.org for much of my information, Ancestry.com, Rootsweb,Latter-Day Saint guide book given to me by my Bishop, Bishop Lines, Udall Ward, Mesa, Arizona
